RESOLUTION NO. RES-2022-187
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING THE FIFTH AMENDMENT TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT NO. F001748 WITH HROD, INC. DBA MMO PARTNERS WHEREAS, on April 16, 2018, the City approved a Professional Services Agreement with HROD, Inc, dba MMO Partners in the amount of $63,000 to provide federal advocacy services to aid in recovery; and WHEREAS, on December 18, 2018, by resolution RES-2018-222, Council approved the First Amendment, increasing compensation by $81,000 and extending the time of performance; and WHEREAS, on August 27, 2019, by resolution RES-2019-130, Council approved the Second Amendment, increasing compensation by $108,000 and extending the time of performance; and WHEREAS, on October 13, 2020, by resolution RES-2020-159-A, Council approved the Third Amendment, increasing compensation by $108,000 and extending the time of performance; and WHEREAS, on September 14, 2021, by resolution RES-2021-157, Council approved the Fourth Amendment, increasing compensation by $108,000 and extending the time of performance; and WHEREAS, the City is still in need of assistance to assure we are able to secure federal funding, other federal resource opportunities, and advocate for the City’s priorities in Washington, D.C. in alignment with the City Council’s goals and adopted federal legislative platform. / / /

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves and authorizes the City Manager to negotiate and execute a Fifth Amendment to Professional Services Agreement Number F001748 with HROD, Inc. dba MMO Partners, extending time of performance and increasing compensation by $108,000 for a total amount not to exceed $576,000, in substantially the same form as Exhibit A to this resolution, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney.
