• Since 2017:
• 147% increase in shooting incidents
• 633% increase in ghost gun seizures by officers and detectives • 10 homicides in 2022:
• Highest number since 2008
• 6 gun related homicides in 2022
Proactive Policing Plan
• Established the Special Enforcement Team in August 2021 • Arrests: 146 (first 11 months of the team)
• Gun Seizures: 43 (first 11 months of the team)
• Ghost Gun Seizures: 16 (first 11 months of the team)
