• Walnut Court currently has time limited

• Walnut Court does not currently have a
residential permit program
• City Code Section 11-44.050 establishes
process for designation of a permit zone

of Walnut Court to be included in the Talbot
area Residential Permit Parking Zone
• Residents may purchase permits exempting
them from time limits
3 TALBOT AREA RESIDENTIAL

PERMIT PARKING ZONE
4 BENEFIT
• Approval of this item will provide relief to
residents, allowing them to park beyond
posted time limits in the permit zone.
• The two-hour time limit will serve as a
deterrent to long term spill over parking,
freeing up parking spaces for residents.
5 RECOMMENDATION
• It is recommended by the Finance
Department that Council, by resolution,
approve the Walnut Court petition to be
included in the Talbot area Residential
