RESOLUTION NO. RES-2022-223
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING ADDITION OF WALNUT COURT TO THE TALBOT AREA RESIDENTIAL PERMIT PARKING ZONE WHEREAS, the Finance Department received a petition from residents of Walnut Court to be included in the Talbot area Residential Permit Parking Zone; and WHEREAS, City Code Section 11-44.050 establishes the procedure for creating Residential Permit Parking Zones; and WHEREAS, the petition represents 60% of residential units on Walnut Court (15 of 25) proposed for inclusion into the Program’s Talbot area Residential Permit Parking Zone, depicted on the attached Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, the Department held a Neighborhood Meeting with residents on September 13, 2022, to review the issues and discuss the merits of adding these blocks to the Program; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that this block meets the City’s requirements for inclusion in the Program; and WHEREAS, the Department and residents have reached agreement on parking restrictions, including a 2-hour time limit from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves the addition of Walnut Court to the Talbot area Residential Permit Parking Zone.
