RESOLUTION NO. RES-2022-222
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA AWARDING PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACT NUMBER C02188 TO KONE INC. FOR MODERNIZATION OF THE GARAGE 12 ELEVATORS LOCATED AT 555 1ST STREET WHEREAS, the current elevator needs federally required upgrades to maintain compliance; and WHEREAS, Kone Inc., Moline, Illinois, maintains all service and maintenance records for State of California requirements; and WHEREAS, funds for this project were previously allocated in Parking’s budget for FY 22/23; and WHEREAS, this project has been found in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to CEQA Guideline Section 15301, it is categorically exempt because it consists of the repair and minor alteration of an existing public facility involving no expansion of an existing use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa awards Public Works Contract Number C02188 with Kone Inc., in substantially the same form as Exhibit A to the resolution, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney, for the purchase, implementation, and maintenance of the elevators in Garage 12 located at 555 1st Street.
