RESOLUTION NO. RES-2023-004
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING A SECOND AMENDMENT TO PURCHASE ORDER 163584 WITH PESTMASTER SERVICES, L.P.
WHEREAS, on December 29, 2020, the City entered into Purchase Order 163584 with Pestmaster Services, L.P., a Delaware Limited Partnership registered to do business in California with principal offices located in Cudahy, California, for pest control service for an initial agreement of one year piggybacking off the County of Sonoma Purchasing Agreement, in an amount not to exceed $38,000; and WHEREAS, on December 1, 2021, the City Manager approved an amendment to extend the Purchase Order for one year, with no cost increase and increase compensation in an amount not to exceed $34,000; and WHEREAS, the City received a one-year extension proposal from Pestmaster Services, L.P. with a 5% rate increase, attached to this resolution as Exhibit A and made a part of herein; City staff analysis for the increase is considered fair and reasonable; and WHEREAS, the City desires to approve the second amendment to Purchase Order 163584 to extend the Purchase Order for a one-year period and increase the compensation payable under the Purchase Order in an amount not to exceed $40,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves the second amendment to Purchase Order 163584 with Pestmaster Service, L.P., increasing compensation by $40,000 for a total amount not to exceed $112,000.
