SIXTH AMENDMENT
TO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING NUMBER F001324 BETWEEN CITY OF SANTA ROSA AND THE COUNTY OF SONOMA This Sixth Amendment to Memorandum of Understanding Number F001324, dated January 6, 2017 ("MOU") is made as of this _____ day of ______, 2022, by and between the City of Santa Rosa, a municipal corporation ("City"), and the County of Sonoma, a political subdivision of the state of California (“County”).
RECITALS
A. City and County entered into the MOU for County to provide installation of bus stop signs, benches and poles, and general maintenance services.
B. City and County now desire to amend the MOU to extend the term and increase compesation.
AMENDMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree to amend the MOU as follows:
Section 2. Term
Section 2 is amended to extend the time of performance to read as follows:
"Services shall commence January 13, 2017 and continue as needed through June 30, 2028.” Section 3. Compensation
Section 3 is amended to increase the compensation payable to the County under the MOU by $100,000 to read as follows; “City will reimburse County based on crew size in accordance with the rates set forth below, provided, however that the aggregate compensation will not to exceed the sum of one-hundred and ninety-nine thousand six-hundred fifty dollars and zero cents ($199,650):
From July 1, 2022 – February 28, 2023 a Crew Size of five (5) or less will cost $1,295 per day and $1,395 for a Crew Size of six (6) or more for each day of service provided.
From March 2023 - June 30, 2023 a Crew Size of five (5) or less will cost $1,365 per day and $1,465 for a Crew Size of six (6) or more for each day of service provided.” From June 30, 2023 – June 30, 2028 compensation for a crew per day cost may increase up to 15% annually without further amendments to this contract.” All other terms of the MOU shall remain in full force and effect.
