HOUSING AND COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT - PUBLIC HEARING – THE
HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN (HOME-ARP) ALLOCATION PLAN.
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be conducted by the City Council on Tuesday February 28, 2023 at or after 5:00 p.m., utilizing a hybrid public meeting format.
The purpose of the public hearing will be to receive public comments on the City’s draft Home Investment Partnership – American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) Allocation Plan (Plan) prior to the City Council acting on authorizing submittal of the Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The City of Santa Rosa (City) has been awarded grant funds by HUD under the HOME-ARP program. The proposed action will authorize submittal of the HOME-ARP Allocation Plan to HUD. HUD requires submission of the Allocation Plan before the City can receive the federal funding and has issued a submittal deadline for all Participating Jurisdictions (PJs) of March 31st, 2023.
To slow the spread of COVID-19 and to protect the health of the public and staff, the City is conducting hybrid public meetings with in-person, streaming video and telephone options.
