Vacation of Public Sewer Access Easement
Vacation Project Description
The project proposes to develop the 2.66-acre site with a new public storage facility at the south end of the project, and a residential apartment project adjacent to Sonoma Highway. The City's existing Los Alamos Trunk Sewer crosses the property, in the east-west direction, along the southerly portion of the site. The City has existing public sewer access rights (Doc. No. 2002-004428) from Sonoma Highway to the Trunk Sewer located along the easterly portion of the site. The proposed development of the new public storage facility will interfere with the City existing sewer access easement. The proposed development will construct new drive aisles and parking areas throughout the site. The existing public sewer access easement has been superseded by relocating a new public sewer access easement over the new drive aisles from Sonoma Highway to the existing Los Alamos Trunk Sewer. New public sewer access easement has been recorded in Doc. No. 2022-026412.
