RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO GENERAL SERVICES AGREEMENT NUMBER F002211 WITH CALIFORNIA PATROL OPERATIONS INC WHEREAS, on December 9, 2020, the City entered into General Services Agreement Number F002211 with Ritesh Prasad dba California Patrol Operations, Inc. for prisoner transport services for an initial agreement of two years with three one-year extension options in an amount not to exceed $95,000; and WHEREAS, on March 19, 2021, the Purchasing Agent approved an Assignment and Assumption agreement under California Patrol Operations Inc; and WHEREAS, on September 2, 2022, the Purchasing Agent approved an extension letter for a one year extension with no changes in contract pricing and no additional funding required; and WHEREAS, the City received a one year extension proposal from California Patrol Operations,Inc with no increase in contract price; and WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into a First Amendment to General Services Agreement Number F002211 to extend the agreement for a one year period and increase compensation payable under the Agreement in an amount not to exceed $100,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves a First Amendment in substantially the form of Exhibit A, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney, to General Services Agreement Number F002211 with California Patrol Operations Inc, increasing compensation by $100,000, for a total amount not to exceed $195,000. ///

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council authorizes the Chief Financial Officer to pay all proper claims for this Agreement, as amended, out of account 170201 Police Department fiscal Year 2022-23 General Ledger operational Department Fund account and subsequent years.
