RESOLUTION NO. RES-2023-072
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING THE THIRD AMENDMENT TO GENERAL SERVICES AGREEMENT NUMBER F002103 WITH TRANSPORTATION SYSEMS INC. DBA RAPID EXPRESS COURIER SYSTEMS WHEREAS, on July 1, 2020, the City Manager approved the award of General Service Agreement (GSA) F002103 to Rapid Express Courier Systems for a term of three years in the not to exceed amount of $81,900; and WHEREAS, on September 29, 2020, the City Manager approved the First Amendment to GSA F002103 to add additional courier stops and increase compensation by $5,760; and WHEREAS, on October 1, 2021, the City Manager Designee approved the Second Amendment to GSA F002103 to increase unit cost and increase compensation by $9,240; and WHEREAS, the City received a two-year extension proposal from Rapid Express Courier Systems with a 10% increase in unit price; city staff determined the increase is considered fair and reasonable; and WHEREAS, the City desires to approve the Third Amendment to GSA F002103 to extend the Agreement for two years and increase the compensation payable under the Agreement in an amount not to exceed $75,900.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves the Third Amendment to General Services Agreement Number F002103 with Transportation Systems Inc. dba Rapid Express Courier Systems, increasing compensation by $75,900, for a total amount not to exceed $175,800, in substantially the same form as Exhibit A to the resolution, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney.
