RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING A COOPERATIVE PURCHASE UNDER SOURCEWELL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT NUMBER 050119-BAN AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A PURCHASE ORDER TO CAL-LINE EQUIPMENT, INC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) BANDIT 12XP DRUM-STYLE WOOD CHIPPER TRAILERS WHEREAS, the City of Santa Rosa Transportation and Public Works Department submitted a request to purchase two (2) Bandit 12XP drum-style wood chipper trailers utilizing the pricing from the Sourcewell Cooperative Agreement Number 050119-BAN with Cal-Line Equipment, Inc., of Vancouver, Washington with offices in Livermore, California; and WHEREAS, the purchase of the two (2) wood chipper trailers will replace City assets #42501 and #42502 (2005 Bandit Chippers) used by Recreation Park Maintenance staff; and WHEREAS, the price schedule through the Sourcewell Cooperative Contract Number 050119-BAN provides a 12% discount off list price for the specified equipment; and WHEREAS, Santa Rosa City Code Section 3-08.160 allows for cooperative purchases when advantageous to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves the use of the Sourcewell Cooperative Agreement Number 050119-BAN to obtain discounted pricing for the purchase of two (2) Bandit 12XP drum-style wood chipper trailers in the amount of $131,067.66.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council authorizes the Purchasing Agent to issue a Purchase Order to Cal-Line Equipment, Inc. with standard City Purchase Order Terms and Conditions for the purchase of two (2) Bandit 12XP drum-style wood chipper trailers, in an amount not to exceed $131,067.66.
