RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING A SPLIT BID AWARD AND ISSUANCE OF BLANKET PURCHASE ORDERS FOR CHEMICALS FOR CITY SWIMMING POOLS TO KNORR SYSTEMS INT’L, LLC AND SCP DISTRIBUTORS LLC DBA LINCOLN AQUATICS IN A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $115,018.42 WHEREAS, The Recreation Division submitted a Purchase Requisition to the Purchasing Department for liquid carbon dioxide and liquid chlorine supply and delivery for the two (2) City pools; and WHEREAS, Purchasing issued an Invitation for Bids (IFB) 23-22 for the purchase of chemicals for City swimming pools; and WHEREAS, IFB 23-22 identified Knorr Systems Int’l, LLC as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for liquid carbon dioxide and SCP Distributors LLC, dba Lincoln Aquatics, as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for liquid chlorine.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves a split bid award for IFB 23-22 and issuance of Blanket Purchase Orders for a period of two years, with three one -year renewal options, to Knorr Systems Int’l, LLC in the total amount not to exceed $26,984.76, and SCP Distributors LLC, dba Lincoln Aquatics in the total amount not to exceed $88,033.66, for a total amount not to exceed $115,018.42.
