RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended by the City Manager that the Council, by motion, adopt the final report for the City of Santa Rosa Council Priority Setting workshop, held on March 9 and March 10, 2023.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The City of Santa Rosa held a City Council workshop and goal setting on Thursday and Friday, March 9 and March 10, 2023, at the Bennett Valley Golf Course event center.
This workshop provided the City Council with the opportunity to review progress made to date on goals that were set in February of 2022 and identify top priorities and goals for the upcoming year.
BACKGROUND
The attached report summarizes the results of the priority setting session. Nancy Hetrick, Managing Director with Baker Tilly's public sector, facilitated the workshop. The final report is included as Attachment 1 and the priorities for the next year are included as Attachment 2.

May 10, 2022 – Council Goal Priorities FISCAL IMPACT
Approval of this action does not have a fiscal impact on the General Fund.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
The proposed action is exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3) and 15378 in that there is no possibility that the implementation of this action may have significant effects on the environment, and no further environmental review is required.
