RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT NUMBER F002610 WITH THE COUNTY OF SONOMA THROUGH ITS RECORDS MANAGEMENT DIVISION OF THE INFORMATION SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, a proposal was requested from the County of Sonoma to provide mail metering, package processing, barcoding, and delivery of all U.S. mail; and WHEREAS, the County of Sonoma has the capability to most efficiently perform processing of all outbound and inbound mail for the City of Santa Rosa and has satisfactorily performed said services during the prior five years; and WHEREAS, Section 51 of the City Charter expressly provides that the Council may contract with the County of Sonoma for performance by appropriate County employees of City functions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves Intergovernmental Agreement Number F002610 with the County of Sonoma in substantially the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney for a three-year term with two one-year extension options to provide mail services through June 30, 2026, in an amount not to exceed $500,000.
