RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING THE AMENDMENT TO BLANKET PURCHASE ORDER NUMBER 166742 WITH DAY MANAGEMENT CORPORATION (DBA) DAY WIRELESS SYSTEMS, FOR MAINTENANCE, REPAIR, AND INSPECTION SERVICES FOR EXISTING COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT WHEREAS, on April 6, 2022, the City Manager awarded Blanket Purchase Order Number 166742 utilizing the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) Cooperative Agreement (Contract Number RA05-21) pricing with Motorola Solutions, Inc. to provide maintenance, repair, and inspection services of City-wide fixed and mobile radios and supporting communications equipment, for a total amount not to exceed $99,000; and WHEREAS, Day Management Corporation (DBA) Day Wireless is recognized by Motorola and contracted as the preferred provider for Motorola in our region for these services; and WHEREAS, on January 24, 2023, by Resolution RES-2023-014, the Council approved an Amendment to Blanket Purchase Order Number 166742 to add funds and increase compensation in the amount of $45,150; and WHEREAS, Day Management Corporation (DBA) Day Wireless Systems has submitted a one-year extension proposal with a 3% increase in unit price; and WHEREAS, the Finance Department desires to extend the term one year and increase compensation by $123,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves the Amendment to Blanket Purchase Order Number 166742 with Day Management Corporation, dba Day Wireless Systems, extending the term one-year, through July 23, 2024, and increasing compensation by $123,000 for a total not to exceed amount of $267,150.
