RESOLUTION NO. RES-2023-117
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT NUMBER F002544 WITH KIMZIN CREATIVE LLC WHEREAS, on May 10, 2022, the City entered into a Professional Services Agreement with Kimzin Creative LLC for arts and equity consulting services for the Public Art Program and the agreement was amended to increase compensation on November 3, 2022; and WHEREAS, the Public Art Program desires to work with Kimzin Creative, LLC for arts and equity consulting services, including research and program development for various program needs as assigned, including Tool Kits, Public Art Audit, and other strategies and tactics identified in the Public Art Strategic Plan; and WHEREAS, the City desires to to extend these services for the Public Art Program through December 31, 2024, and increase compensation in the amount of $66,000 for a total not to exceed $156,000; and WHEREAS, the primary funding sourcte for the Public Art Program, and the funding source for services under this amended agreement, comes from the Public Art Fund established through Council Policy 000-42 “Public Art” on November 19, 1996.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves the Second Amendment to Professional Services Agreement Number F002544 with Kimzin Creative LLC, in substantially the same form as Exhibit A to the resolution, subject to approval by the City Attorney.
