RESOLUTION NO. RES-2023-153
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPOINTING A CITY ATTORNEY AND APPROVING AN EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT FOR THE CITY ATTORNEY POSITION WHEREAS, City Attorney Sue Gallagher retired from her position as City Attorney effective July 28, 2023; and WHEREAS, the City conducted a nationwide recruitment for a new City Attorney; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Santa Rosa intends to appoint Teresa Stricker as the new City Attorney; and WHEREAS, the City and Teresa Stricker have negotiated terms and conditions set forth in the Employment Agreement – City Attorney, attached hereto as Exhibit A.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa formally appoints Teresa Stricker to the position of City Attorney effective November 6, 2023, and approves the Employment Agreement – City Attorney, attached to this resolution as Exhibit A and made a part of herein.
