Again, thank you for listening to JoAnn Jones and me at last nights’s Council Meeting.
I stated previously, we were going to bring up these two items at next year’s Goal Setting Meeting as you requested, but recent events in several Mobilehome Parks have my membership afraid of losing their homes as well as facing retribution from park managers and owners.
Such things, as you know have been happening in Cloverdale, Windsor and Petaluma as well as Santa Rosa at Carriage Court and Sunset Park.
I have been hearing more and more from my membership on the two issues JoAnn and I spoke about last night.
Please hear our request to have City staff start the process creating Zoning Overlays for our Senior Parks.
Also, please work with me to lower the 10% In Place Transfer to a more reasonable amount than the current 10% that will destroy affordable housing in our City.
As I said at the Council Meeting yesterday, I trust this Council to do the right thing.
