RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING A SECOND AMENDMENT TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT NUMBER F002460 WITH GREEN VALLEY CONSULTING ENGINEERS, INC. OF SANTA ROSA, CALIFORNIA, FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AND INSPECTION SERVICES ASSOCIATED WITH THE FIRE DAMAGED ROADWAY LANDSCAPING PROJECT WHEREAS, on April 12, 2022, by Resolution RES-2022-064, the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approved Professional Services Agreement Number F002460 with Green Valley Consulting Engineers, Inc. in the amount of $647,042, for Construction Management and Inspection services associated with the Fire Damaged Roadway Landscaping Project; and WHEREAS, the project was significantly delayed by unforeseen insurance requirements, contractor’s lack of performance, and increased field crews to comply with grant deadlines; and WHEREAS, additional Construction Management and Inspection services are required to complete the Fire Damaged Roadway Landscaping Project; and WHEREAS, on July 31, 2023, the City executed a First Amendment to the Agreement, extending the time of performance to May 31, 2024; and WHEREAS, the City plans to seek funding for the amendment via reimbursed through the Hazard Mitigation Grant Programs (HMGP) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistant Grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves a Second Amendment to Professional Services Agreement Number F002460 with Green Valley Consulting Engineers, Inc. in the amount of $384,890, attached hereto as Exhibit A, in substantially the same form as Exhibit A to the resolution, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney, for a total contract amount not to exceed $1,031.932.
