Subject: [EXTERNAL] Support a Ceasefire - Council Meeting Comments Date: Monday, December 11, 2023 5:01:12 PM
Greetings,
I am a Santa Rosa resident. I am Jewish and joining the hundreds upon thousands of jewish people, faith leaders, medical professionals, human rights leaders, nations, and more calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
It is vital that our representatives and leaders respond to our voices and support a Ceasefire now.
I am mourning for the loss of life in Israel and Palestine. There is no justification for the actual genocide being committed against innocent people and especially children in Gaza. People are more than numbers, yet we must continue to share the outrageous numbers of lives lost in Gaza: more than 17,000 people and 7,000 children; 48,780 wounded (Gaza's Health Ministry).
Thousands of children are hungry, wounded, or orphaned. I ask you, how does this make anyone safer?
How many numbers will it take to stop this?
