RESOLUTION NO. RES-2023-197
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT NUMBER F002657 WITH EBA ENGINEERING FOR LIMITED PHASE 1 ENVIRONMENTAL SITE ASSESSMENT SERVICES WHEREAS, on July 17, 2023, the City entered into a Professional Services Agreement (the “Agreement”) with EBA Engineering, a California Corporation to provide on-call Limited Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment services in an amount not to exceed $99,000.00; and WHEREAS, City Staff now desires to approve a First Amendment to the Agreement to (1) add compensation payable under the Agreement in an amount of $250,000.00 for a total agreement amount not to exceed $349,000.00, and (2) extend the term of the Agreement for an additional 5 years, until December 31, 2028; and WHEREAS, the additional $250,000.00 needed for this contract amendment and the claims that arise under it will be paid from various charge numbers City-wide, as approved by the Chief Financial Officer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves the First Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement Number F002657 with EBA Engineering, attached to this resolution as Exhibit A and made a part of herein, in the amount of $250,000.00 for a total contract amount not to exceed $349,000.00, and extends the term of the Agreement, as amended, for 5 years.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council authorizes the Chief Financial Officer to pay all proper claims for this Agreement, as amended, from various charge numbers.
