Hello,
I am a resident of Santa Rosa and I urge you to take a stand against genocide. During the Vietnam war era, elected officials ignored the cries of citizens and so local governments had to step up to make sure our voices were heard. Something similar is happening now.
Our city has the ability to join with other CA cities in recognizing that the majority of citizens do not want to be aligned with the Christian Nationalist/Zionist agenda and instead want to be on the side of the Palestinian people who have suffered under an apartheid regime supported by our tax dollars.
Please side with the UN, Doctors without Boarders, nearly every social justice group on the planet, South Africa, Ireland and do not stand with elected officials who participate in ethnic cleansing. Be on the side of Mandela, not the side of colonial white supremacy.
Zionist mentalities make both our Jewish and Arab communities unsafe, please do better for our community and call for an immediate ceasefire and the end of occupation.
