RESOLUTION NO. RES-2024-001
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT NUMBER F001927 WITH SPEAKWRITE, LLC AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT WHEREAS, The Santa Rosa Police Department entered into an agreement with SpeakWrite, LLC in 2019 to provide transcription services; and WHEREAS, the Santa Rosa Police Department amended the agreement in 2020 to add Spanish transcription services; and WHEREAS, the Department wishes to amend the agreement for the purpose of increasing compensation by $75,000, for a total not to exceed amount of $170,000 and extending the term of the agreement until June 30, 2027; and WHEREAS, the department requires these transcription services for digital recording of interviews with victims, witnesses and suspects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves the Second Amendment to Professional Services Agreement Number F001927 with SpeakWrite, LLC.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa authorizes the City Manager to execute the Second Amendment to Professional Services Agreement Number F001927, in substantially the same form as Exhibit A to the resolution, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney.
