RESOLUTION NO. RES-2024-017
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA ADOPTING THE 2024 CITY OF SANTA ROSA FEDERAL LEGISLATIVE PLATFORM WHEREAS, the 2024 Federal Legislative Platform ("Platform") for the City of Santa Rosa communicates the City’s federal policy and project priorities to the public, California Federal Legislative Delegation, Congress, regional and federal agencies; and WHEREAS, the Platform is intended to assist the City Council and City staff to efficiently and appropriately address proposed federal legislation, administrative, or regulatory actions to advance and protect the City’s priorities as necessary; and WHEREAS, the priorities identified in the Platform focus the City’s efforts in the following areas critical to the City and the community it serves: Wildfire Prevention, Hazard Mitigation, Resiliency and Recovery; Surface Transportation; Water and Energy Resiliency; Climate Change and Sustainability; Housing, Homelessness and Economic Development; Public Safety; and Public Health and Education.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa adopts the City of Santa Rosa’s 2024 Federal Legislative Platform, attached to this resolution as Exhibit A and made a part of herein.
