3. PUBLIC COMMENTS
Staff made a recommendation to the Chair to take public comment during the non agenda public comment period for item 9.1 - Verizon Wireless Telecommunication Tower, due to continuance and members of the public being present.
Chair Weeks opened public comment at 4:31 p.m.
Carmen Gonzalez suggested Staff continue the item and spoke in opposition of the project item 9.1 - Verizon Wireless
Telecommunication Tower.

9.1* PUBLIC HEARING - VERIZON WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATION TOWER - CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT - 244 COLGAN AVENUE -
PRJ23-009
BACKGROUND: The applicant is requesting approval of a Conditional Use Permit for the construction of a 69-foot-tall monopine (telecommunication tower) with ground equipment enclosed by a 6-foot-tall fence. The project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

Staff made a recommendation to continue this item to a date certain of January 11, 2024.
A motion was made by Vice Chair Duggan, seconded by Commissioner Cisco, to continue item 9.1 to a date certain of January 11, 2024.
