RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA BID APPROVING ISSUANCE OF A PURCHASE ORDER FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) FORD TRANSIT X2C BODY STYLE PASSENGER VANS FROM TOWNE MOTOR CO DBA TOWNE FORD SALES IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $130,153.20 WHEREAS, the City of Santa Rosa Transportation and Public Works Department submitted a request to purchase two (2) Ford Transit X2C Body Style Passenger Vans or Equal for competitive bid for the inRESPONSE Program and funded through the ARPA grant; and WHEREAS, the purchase of the vans will be used by the Police Department inRESPONSE Program; and WHEREAS, the Purchasing department issued an Invitation for Bid 24-03 which closed on February 27, 2024, and two bid responses were received; and WHEREAS, Towne Ford Sales, Redwood City, California was the lowest responsive bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves issuance of a Purchase Order with the City’s standard terms and conditions for the purchase of two (2) 2024 Ford Transit X2C Body Style Passenger Vans with Towne Motor Co dba Towne Ford Sales, for a total amount not to exceed $130,153.20.
