RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING THE COOPERATIVE PURCHASE OF ONE 2028 PIERCE ENFORCER 107’ AERIAL FIRE TRUCK WITH GOLDEN STATE FIRE APPARATUS, INC. IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $2,541,247.49 THROUGH HOUSTON GALVESTON AREA COUNCIL (H-GAC) INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT #10-2428, PIERCE H-GAC CONTRACT #FS12-23 WHEREAS, the City of Santa Rosa Transportation and Public Works Department submitted a request to purchase one (1) 2028 Pierce Enforcer 107’ Aerial Fire Truck utilizing the pricing from the Houston Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) Interlocal Cooperative Agreement #10-2428, Pierce H-GAC Contract #FS12.23 with Golden Fire Apparatus, Inc., Sacramento, California; and WHEREAS, the purchase of the vehicle will replace City asset #26202 used by the Fire Department; and WHEREAS, the price schedule through H-GAC Interlocal Cooperative Agreement #10-2428, Pierce H-GAC Contract #FS12-23 was competitively bid and awarded for the specified vehicle; and WHEREAS, Santa Rosa City Code Section 3-08.160 allows for cooperative purchases when advantageous to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves the use of the H-GAC Interlocal Cooperative Agreement #10-2428, Pierce H-GAC Contract #FS12.23 for the purchase of one (1) 2028 Pierce Enforcer 107’ Truck. ///

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council approves the purchase of one (1) 2028 Pierce Enforcer 107’ Truck from Golden Fire Apparatus, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $2,541,247.49.
