Hello,
I am writing to urge the city of Santa Rosa to adopt a ceasefire resolution in regards to the situation in Israel/Palestine.
It is important that we not only acknowledge the horrendous events that have occurred over the last 7 months, but to use our place of privilege to speak out against inhumane violence.
Together, we must advocate for a peaceful end to this tragic time. Just as the UN has called for a ceasefire, Santa Rosa must join them along with countless other leaders, organizations and cities to stand up for those who cannot be heard.
I look forward to hearing the draft resolution.
