RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING A WAIVER OF BID AND ISSUANCE OF A PURCHASE ORDER FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE 2023 CHEVROLET SILVERADO MD, CRANE BODY FROM PLATINUM CHEVROLET, SANTA ROSA, CA WHEREAS, the City of Santa Rosa Transportation and Public Works Department (TPW) submitted a waiver of competitive bid and issuance of a purchase order (PO) to purchase one (1) 2023 Chevroleet Silverado MD, Crane Body from Platinum Chevrolet, Santa Rosa, California; and WHEREAS, the purchase of the vehicle will replace City asset #21902 used by the TPW Field Services Electrical Services staff; and WHEREAS, market research has determined limited inventory for this type of vehicle and that the pricing from Platinum Chevrolet is considered fair and reasonable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves the waiver of bid for the purchase of one (1) 2023 Chevroleet Silverado MD, Crane Body from Platinum Chevrolet, Santa Rosa, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council approves and authorizes the Purchasing Agent to issue a PO for the purchase of one (1) 2023 Chevroleet Silverado MD, Crane Body from Platinum Chevrolet, Santa Rosa, California in the amount of $200,303.06.
