RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA SOLE MANUFACTURE BID AWARD APPROVAL AND ISSUANCE OF A PURCHASE ORDER FOR THE PURCHASE OF THREE (3) 2024 FORD F-150 POLICE RESPONDER VEHICLES WHEREAS, the City of Santa Rosa Transportation and Public Works Department (TPW) submitted a sole manufacture bid request for the purchase of one (1) 2024 Ford F-150 Police Responder new vehicle for use by the Santa Rosa Police Department (SRPD); and WHEREAS, The Purchasing Department issued a Request for Quotes (RFQ) 24-14, which closed on April 17, 2024; and two bid responses were received; and WHEREAS, the City of Santa Rosa TPW requested to add two (2) 2024 Ford F-150 Police Responder vehicles required under the Fleet Replacement program for City assets #5850 and 5485; and WHEREAS, under the bid provisions, the City has the right to request an increase in quantities, which the vendor has agreed; and WHEREAS, Towne Motor Company dba Towne Ford Sales, Redwood City, California was the lowest responsive bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves the sole manufacture bid award under RFQ 24-14 for the purchase of three (3) 2024 Ford F-150 Police Responder vehicles with Towne Motor Company dba Towne Ford Sales, Redwood City, California. ///

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council approves sole manufacture bid award and issuance of a Purchase Order for the purchase of three (3) 2024 Ford F150 Police Responder vehicles with Towne Motor Company dba Towne Ford Sales, Redwood City, California for a total amount not to exceed $159,617.56.
