RESOLUTION NO. RES-2024-075
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO BLANKET PURCHASE ORDER NUMBER 169623 WITH ENVIRONMENTAL LOGISTICS, INC.
WHEREAS, on May 10, 2023, the Purchasing Department issued a Request for Quote (RFQ) 23-35 to award a Blanket Purchase Order (BPO) for one (1) year with four one (1)-year extension options for hazardous materials services as required by various City Departments; and WHEREAS, on June 14, 2023, the City Manager approved the award of RFQ 23-35 and issuance of BPO Number 169623 to Environmental Logistics, Inc., Hayward, California, for one (1) year in an amount not to exceed $99,000; and WHEREAS, Environmental Logistics, Inc. has agreed to a one (1) year extension with an average 13% increase in unit cost; and WHEREAS, the City desires to approve the First Amendment to BPO Number 169623 to extend the term one (1) year and add compensation payable in an amount not to exceed $200,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves the First Amendment to BPO Number 169623 with Environmental Logistics, Inc., extending the term one (1) year and increasing compensation by $200,000 for a total amount not to exceed $299,000.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council authorizes the Chief Financial Officer to pay all proper claims for this Agreement, as amended, out of various Department Funds.
