RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT NO. F002543 WITH MATRIX CONSULTING GROUP, LTD.
WHEREAS, the City contracted with Matrix Consulting Group, LTD on October 19, 2022 for the development of a Development Services Strategic Plan to guide the City’s development-related customer service, pre-application, encroachment permit review, entitlement permit review and public review meetings, and Building and Fire plan check and inspection services related to private land use and development in the City; and WHEREAS, The City and Consultant entered into a contract amendment to extend the Time of Performance; and WHEREAS, the City now desires to amend the Agreement for the purpose of increasing the Compensation by $49,980 for a total contracted amount not to exceed $141,480 and extending the Time of Performance to December 31, 2025, and revising the Scope of Services to include the strategic planning for the Code Enforcement division of the Planning and Economic Development Department; and WHEREAS, funds for this expense have been allocated in the Fiscal Year 2023-24 budget within the Department’s operating budget. Approval of this action does not have a fiscal impact on the General Fund. ///

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves the Second Amendment to Professional Services Agreement Number F002543 with Matrix Consulting Group, LTD. for an expanded scope of services to include strategic planning for the Code Enforcement Division, with an increase in compensation of $49, 980 for a total not-to-exceed amount of $141,480, substantially in the form of in Exhibit A attached hereto, subject to approval by the City Attorney.
