RESOLUTION NO. RES-2024-090
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH MV TRANSPORTATION, INC., OF FAIRFIELD, CALIFORNIA TO PROVIDE ADA PARATRANSIT ELIGIBILITY, PARATRANSIT SERVICE AND DEVIATED FIXED-ROUTE SERVICE WHEREAS, the City invited proposals to provide ADA paratransit service, deviated fixed-route service and other supplementary service for the City of Santa Rosa; and WHEREAS, a single offer was submitted and opened in accordance with law; and WHEREAS, an analysis was conducted using federal procurement best practices to ensure the procurement was not unduly restrictive of competition; and WHEREAS, the Council concluded that the proposal of MV Transportation, Inc. of Fairfield, California, offered is fair and reasonable; and WHEREAS, State Transportation Development Act (TDA) Article IV funds and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) 5307 funds are available for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves and authorizes the City Manager or designee to negotiate and execute the Professional Services Agreement with MV Transportation Inc., using the form attached as Exhibit A this resolution as the basis for negotiation, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney, in the amount not to exceed $ 7,405,473 with four one-year renewal options. ///

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council authorizes the Chief Financial Officer to pay all claims for services performed under this agreement from GL Keys 120202 and 320805, the source of the funds being Federal Transit Administration Section 5307 funding and State Transportation Development Act Article IV funds.
