RESOLUTION NO. RES-2024-124
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING A SECOND AMENDMENT TO PURCHASE ORDER NUMBER 165140 WITH UNIVERSAL SITE SERVICES, INC., MILPITAS, CALIFORNIA WHEREAS, the Transportation and Public Works Department (TPW) and the Parking Division of the Finance Department have a need for sweeping services at City parking garages, parking lots, and transit hubs; and WHEREAS, on May 24, 2021, the Finance Department issued an Invitation for Bids 21-31 for sweeping services; and WHEREAS, on August 31, 2021, the City Council approved a bid award and issuance of a Purchase Order to Universal Site Services, Inc., Milpitas, California, in an amount not to exceed $132,238.64; and WHEREAS, on June 28, 2023, the City Manager approved the First Amendment to Purchase Order Number 165140 to extend the term one year and increase compensation in an amount not to exceed $65,134.32; and WHEREAS, TPW and the Parking Division of the Finance Department request that a Second Amendment be approved for an amount of $65,134.32 for a total not to exceed amount of $262,537.28; and WHEREAS, Universal Site Services, Inc. has submitted a one-year extension proposal with no increase to unit cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves a Second Amendment to Purchase Order Number 165140 to extend the term one year and add compensation the amount of $65,134.32 for a total not to exceed the amount of $262,537.28.
