RESOLUTION NO. RES-2024-123
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING A FOURTH AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT NUMBER F000599 WITH ACCELA, INC., SAN RAMON, CA, FOR A ONE-YEAR EXTENSION WHEREAS, the City uses the Accela Civic Platform throughout multiple departments to manage development-related permitting, inspections, and code enforcement services, data, and processes; and WHEREAS, the City has utilized the Accela Civic Platform software suite (formerly branded as “Accela Automation”) since July 2015; and WHEREAS, Accela has informed the City that support for on-premise installations like ours will only be available through the December 2025 end-of-life date after which only their version in the cloud will be supported. Hence, this contract amendment is to extend services to June 30, 2025 while the City completes an RFP process to re-assess all available options; and WHEREAS, it is recommended by the Information Technology Department that the City extend the support and maintenance terms of the contract for approximately one (1) year, through June 30, 2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approve a Fourth Amendment to Agreement Number F000599, attached to this resolution as Exhibit A, with Accela, Inc., San Ramon, CA, for a one-year extension and increase in compensation in the amount of $166,899.26, for a total cumulative contract amount of $1,941,641.00.
