RESOLUTION NO. RES-2024-130
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO GENERAL SERVICE AGREEMENT NUMBER F002145 FOR A ONE YEAR EXTENSION AND INCREASE IN COMPENSATION WITH WATERWORKS INDUSTRIES INCORPORATED, WINDSOR, CALIFORNIA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $26,264.03, FOR A TOTAL CUMULATIVE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $119,189.03.
WHEREAS, the Recreation and Parks Department has a need for aquatic weed control services at City owned lakes; and WHEREAS, on April 16, 2020, the Finance Department issued a Request for Quote 20-41 for aquatic weed control services; and WHEREAS, on July 13, 2020, the City Manager approved a bid award and issuance of a General Services Agreement (GSA) to Waterworks Industries Incorporated, Windsor, California, in an amount not to exceed $67,500 for a three-year term with two one-year renewal options; and WHEREAS, on July 5, 2023, the City Manager approved the First Amendment to extend the term and increase compensation in an amount not to exceed $25,425; and WHEREAS, Waterworks Industries Incorporated has submitted a one-year extension proposal with a 3.3% increase in compensation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves the Second Amendment to General Services Agreement (GSA) F002145 to extend the term for one year and increase compensation in the amount of $26,264.03 for a total cumulative amount not to exceed $119,189.03.
