I am writing in reference to more taxes and fees that may be added to those that operate Short Term Rentals in Santa Rosa.
I wish that you could all understand that the more you tax us the more we need to charge our guests. Doing this takes money away from everyone in our city. People that rent our STR's come here for a variety of reasons and they all spend money at all of our local businesses.
Therefore, the less they spend here in Santa Rosa the less the city of Santa Rosa receives in revenue.
Please STOP raising fees and taxes for the SRT residences. We are all just trying to make ends meet. It is so expensive to live here and you keep making it harder for us to live in our homes.
Maybe you should stop spending on reasons and people that cost the city money!!! Thanks for listening, Diane Andreini

I am writing to oppose Measure EE which would add a new business tax to Short Term Rental hosts.
We already pay:
-an annual renewal fee of $886.
-TOT taxes
-BIA fees
Santa Rosa is already an expensive area to live in.
Increasing taxes and fees makes it harder to:
-Live in Santa Rosa
-Run a business in SR
-Visit Santa Rosa
Please look at reducing expenditures to balance the budget, not increasing taxes and fees.
Sincerely,
Jeff Bean
