The applicant seeks to vacate an easement that exists on the subject property. It is a utility and fire easement that was granted in 1990. It has never been used by the fire department. There are no utilities that are installed or accessible appurtenant to the easement. Overhead lines and underground utilities to the neighboring properties come in elsewhere and are not accessible through the existing easement. The existing easement would not accommodate emergency vehicles.
