RESOLUTION NO. RES-2024-192
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING ISSUANCE OF A PURCHASE ORDER FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) CATERPILLAR 306 COMPACT EXCAVATOR UTILIZING THE SOURCEWELL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT NUMBER 011723-CAT WITH PETERSON TRACTOR OF SANTA ROSA, CALIFORNIA WHEREAS, the City of Santa Rosa Transportation and Public Works Department submitted a request to purchase one (1) Caterpillar 306 Compact Excavator utilizing the pricing from the Sourcewell Cooperative Agreement Number 011723-CAT with Peterson Tractor of Santa Rosa, California; and WHEREAS, the purchase of the equipment will replace existing City Asset No. 27401 used in Santa Rosa Water Department; and WHEREAS, the price schedule through the Sourcewell Cooperative Agreement Number 011723-CAT provides a 20% discount off list price for the specified equipment; and WHEREAS, Santa Rosa City Code Section 3-08.160 allows for cooperative purchases when advantageous to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council approves the issuance of a Purchase Order with City Purchase Order Terms and Conditions for the purchase of one (1) Caterpillar 306 Compact Excavator utilizing the pricing from the Sourcewell Cooperative Agreement Number 011723-CAT with Peterson Tractor of Santa Rosa, California for a total amount not to exceed $143,162.09.
