RESOLUTION NO. RES-2025-004
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA ADOPTING THE 2025 CITY OF SANTA ROSA FEDERAL LEGISLATIVE PLATFORM WHEREAS, the 2025 Federal Legislative Platform ("Platform") for the City of Santa Rosa communicates the City’s federal legislative and funding priorities to the City’s Federal Legislative Delegation, relevant Congressional committees, regional and federal agencies; and WHEREAS, the Platform is intended to assist the City Council and City staff to efficiently and appropriately address proposed federal legislation, administrative, or regulatory actions to advance and protect City priorities as necessary; and WHEREAS, the priorities identified in the Platform focus the City’s efforts in the following areas critical to the City and the community it serves: Wildfire Prevention and Resiliency; Surface Transportation; Water Infrastructure, Conservation and Energy Resiliency; Climate Change and Sustainability; Housing, Homelessness and Economic Development; Public Safety; and Education, Families and Children.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa adopts the City of Santa Rosa’s 2025 Federal Legislative Platform, attached to this resolution as Exhibit A and made a part of herein.
