RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO BLANKET PURCHASE ORDER 164204A TO EXTEND THE TERM AND INCREASE COMPENSATION WITH GEOTAB USA, INC.
WHEREAS, On March 23, 2021, City Council approved a one-year blanket purchase order (BPO) with seven (7) one-year extensions to Geotab USA, Inc., Las Vegas, Nevada in the amount of $250,000 for the purchase of Geotab vehicle telematic system (VTS) and components for fleet vehicles, utilizing the State of California (DGS) Contract Number 1-19-58- 69; and WHEREAS, On June 6, 2023, City Council approved the use of the BPO between the period of June17, 2022 and June 17, 2023, and a one-year extension through June 17, 2024, with increase in compensation in the amount of $175,000; and WHEREAS, On June 4, 2024, City Council approved a one-year extension through June 17, 2025, with increase in compensation in the amount of $175,000; and WHEREAS, Transportation and Public Work Department (TPW) has a need for the ongoing purchase of telematic equipment and components, and vehicle monitoring services through Geotab USA, Inc. under the DGS Cooperative Agreement 1-19-58-69 and has entered into three (3) of the seven (7) previously approved additional one-year extensions, but requires additional compensation in the amount of $150,000 to be approved by Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves an amendment to extend Blanket Purchase Order 164204A with Geotab USA, Inc., for a one-year period through June 17, 2026and increasing compensation in the amount of $150,000 for vehicle telematic equipment and data support services, for a total amount not to exceed $750,000.
