RESOLUTION NO. RES-2025-103
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH MOORE IACOFANO GOLTSMAN, INCORPORATED TO PROVIDE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN AND ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR RINCON VALLEY COMMUNITY PARK PLAY AREA RENOVATION IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $297,020.
WHEREAS, Rincon Valley Community Park is located in the northeast quadrant of Santa Rosa at 5108 Badger Road; and WHEREAS, Rincon Valley Community Park amenities include play areas, two restroom buildings, a soccer field, a softball field, a dog park, picnic areas, paved pathways, and large grassy areas; and WHEREAS, the play equipment and adjacent restroom building need replacement to bring the park up to good condition and in compliance with current building codes related to the Americans with Disabilities Act; and WHEREAS, design and construction documents are needed to renovate and revitalize the outdated play areas and restroom; and
WHEREAS, proposals were invited for the performance of landscape architectural design and engineering services to renovate the play area and adjacent restroom, and six (6) proposals were received and reviewed in accordance with City policy; and
WHEREAS, the scope of work associated with the Professional Services Agreement includes working with the community to develop a design for the play area, and to prepare Design Development and Construction Documents for Rincon Valley Community Park, which will include replacing the play areas, picnic pavilion and the current restroom building; and WHEREAS, funding for these services is available in the current fiscal year budget from Measure M in JL Key 09782. / / /

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves the Professional Services Agreement with Moore Iacofano Goltsman, Incorporated in substantially the same form attached hereto as Exhibit A, subject to approval by the City Attorney, in an amount not to exceed $297,020.
