RESOLUTION NO. RES-2025-126
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING THE COOPERATIVE FUNDING AGREEMENT NO. 51201E1 WITH SONOMA COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY FOR MEASURE DD (GO SONOMA) QUARTERLY FARE FREE TRANSIT PROGRAM REIMBURSEMENTS TO SANTA ROSA CITYBUS WHEREAS Sonoma County voters approved Go Sonoma on November 3, 2020; and WHEREAS Go Sonoma is a ¼ cent sales tax that began collection on April 1, 2025; and WHEREAS the City of Santa Rosa (CityBus) must establish a Cooperative Funding Agreement No. 51201E1 with Sonoma County Transportation Authority (SCTA) in order to receive reimbursement for providing Fare Free Transit Programs under Go Sonoma.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves the Cooperative Funding Agreement No. 51201E1 with SCTA, in substantially the same form as Exhibit A to the resolution, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council authorizes the City Manager or designee to execute the Cooperative Funding Agreement No. 51201E1 and any amendment, form or documents necessary to administer or receive reimbursement of funds under the terms of the Funding Agreement, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council authorizes the Chief Financial Officer to appropriate funds received on behalf of the City as identified in the Cooperative Funding Agreement No. 51201E1.
