Dear Planning Commission,

Three years ago, over 400 people from the Skyhawk community signed a petition seeking to BLOCK the proposal to establish a permanent 24-bed Addiction Services center in Skyhawk Village under the guise of a community services center.

The Planning Commission voted
against the Minor Use Permit after a public hearing on 12/8/2022 where many residents spoke against it.

Now Pura Vida is submitting the application to try a second time to get a Minor User Permit to operate a 24-bed recovery center. Such a recovery center is too close to Austin Creek Elementary.

It blocks traffic and takes customers away from other small businesses. Worst of all, it also violates the Santa Rosa city General Plan and creates a liability for the city should you continue to support this proposal.

Please take steps today to block this proposal.

Regards,
Charlie Considine
