RESOLUTION NO. RES-2026-029
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA TO APPROVE A SANTA ROSA CITY SCHOOLS SERVICE CONTRACT WITH THE SANTA ROSA CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT WHEREAS, the Santa Rosa City School District has agreed to partner with the City of Santa Rosa Housing and Community Services Department to provide summer programs for youth; and WHEREAS, the Santa Rosa City School District has agreed to reimburse the City of Santa Rosa for staffing and supply costs associated with providing these services; and WHEREAS, the Santa Rosa City School District has agreed to provide meals to participants and facilities to operate the program, and the City of Santa Rosa Housing and Community Services Department agrees to provide adequate staffing, supplies and curriculum.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves the Santa Rosa City Schools Service Contract, in substantially the same form as Exhibit A to the resolution, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council authorizes the Director of Housing and Community Services to execute the Santa Rosa City Schools Service Contract.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council authorizes the Chief Financial Officer to increase appropriations in revenue and expenditures in 1260-001882 by the approved contract amount of which funds will be provided by the Santa Rosa City School District.
