Hello,
First I applaud the Council and Staff for taking a calculated approach to regulating cannabis in Santee. I want to encourage the council to continue taking action towards creating a cannabis program in the City of Santee.
Specifically, I want to recommend that Council follow staff recommendation in regards to Ordinance B, an ordinance that includes an expanded community benefits agreement. This path would be the most streamlined, cost-effective, and allows the Council the flexibility to modify agreements as the industry matures.
Culture Cannabis Club is happy to be a resource should you have any questions for the industry. We hope to have the opportunity to operate in the city soon.
