I was just informed by my neighbor that the lot adjacent to mine was rezoned to R-22 from R-2 and I was not notified. This is a major change that I am against and I want to know why I was not notified. I have lived here for 44 years and have received notices on other things but not on this one. The people of Santee passed Measure N which states if there is a change to the General Plan or an Amendment that it is to be voted on by the people as it affects all of us.

I am very upset about this lack of notification. I was told by a person that went to the meeting that the City Council asked Mike Coyne the Project Manager if notification was sent out and his reply was "YES"
That doesn't seem to be true.
A response is due, and I expect one.
