RE: Cannabis Permitting
I have been active in the Santee community for quite a while. I am proud of the numerous local issues I’ve been involved with. I’ve held many positions with community service nonprofits within our city, including my current position on a City committee. I feel I have the pulse of the Santee community and the business community.
The city of Santee is in the process of permitting companies for retail cannabis. I support this process. I specifically urge to council to grant at least one permit to Culture Cannabis Club.
Culture Cannabis Club has been involved with the Santee Community for approximately two years. And I especially like the fact that the main contact person has Santee roots, grew up here and went to school here. There is no doubt in my mind that if they are granted a permit, they will always do what is best for Santee.
I strongly urge the council to grant a permit to Culture Cannabis Club.
