I. CALL TO ORDER
The Special meeting of August 11th, 2022 was called to order by Mayor Kellman at 10:00 AM by a telephonic Zoom meeting.
I.A ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Councilmembers: Jill Hoffman (VIA ZOOM), Cleveland-Knowles (VIA ZOOM), Ian Sobieski (VIA ZOOM), Mayor Kellman (VIA ZOOM) ABSENT: Councilmembers: Vice Mayor Melissa Blaustein
Council members present and there was a quorum.
I.B. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Councilmember Jill Hoffman moved, seconded by Councilmember Cleaveland-Knowles to approve the agenda. Motion was carried unanimously by roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmembers: Cleveland-Knowles, Hoffman, Ian Sobieski, Mayor Kellman
NOES: Councilmembers: None
ABSTAIN: Councilmembers: None
ABSENT: Councilmembers: Vice Mayor Melissa Blaustein

There were no public comments
1. BUSINNES ITEMS – 10:05 AM
1.A. Resolution calling for an election on a Citizens Initiative entitled ”A CitizenSponsored Initiative Measure to Repeal Existing Regulations and Authorize One Storefront and One Delivery-Only Cannabis Business to Operate in the City of Sausalito” to be held and consolidated with the General Municipal Election Sausalito City Council Minutes
Special Meeting of August 11th, 2022
scheduled for November 8, 2022 and requesting that the Marin County Registrar of Voters conduct the election (Greg Rubens City Attorney) 10:05 AM.
Brief clarification from City Attorney, Greg Rubens, on the recommendation to adopt Resolution Calling and Giving Notice of General Municipal Election for the Submission to the Qualified Voters of the City of Sausalito, and Establishing the Schedule for Submission of Ballot Arguments, and Authorizing the County of Marin to Conduct the Election.
Council questions followed.
Council adopted Resolution as presented.
Councilmember Jill Hoffman moved, seconded by Councilmember Cleveland-Knowles to adopt the Resolution No. 6182. Motion was carried unanimously by roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmembers: Cleveland-Knowles, Hoffman, Ian Sobieski, Mayor Kellman
NOES: Councilmembers: None
ABSTAIN: Councilmembers: None
ABSENT: Councilmembers: Vice Mayor Melissa Blaustein
